Hetter Heating & Cooling owner & president John Hetterscheidt has chaired ACCA's Heat the Town program since its inception in 2004. John leads the effort every fall to bring together the best heating & cooling professionals in central Ohio who donate their time and talent to service the HVAC needs of the less fortunate.

John was elected central Ohio ACCA president in the Spring of 2009. After serving on the board of directors for many years, John’s passion not only for his company but his industry now is on full display. His goal is to separate ACCA member companies from non-members by an elevated standard of ethics but also providing a source for accountability to the consumer.

John purchased the family business from his father Dick in 1996. His passion for doing what is right for the customer has transcended the company resulting in a consistent annual double digit growth rate.

While other companies in our industry were laying off, Hetter's staff grew by 30% in 2008 alone with the addition of four new employees: a new GM, a salesperson, an installer and an office support person. Hetter also purchased a 23,000 square foot office & warehouse on Old Kenny Rd in May, 2008 to facilitate our growth.
