Hetter Heating & Cooling is proud to again have been a part of ACCAs Heat the Town program. Members of the local chapter of ACCA (Air Conditioner Contractors of America) organized and donated their time and expertise for the event offering FREE furnace service to over one hundred seventy low income households on Saturday, October 1st, 2005. John Hetterscheidt, president of Hetter Heating & Cooling, was again the event chairman. Columbus Leads put together the list of recipients whose furnaces received a thorough fall clean and check. In all, some 178 furnaces were serviced and of that number, ten were determined to have bad heat exchangers. This years total more than doubled the number of furnaces serviced last year in the inaugural Heat the Town event. Hetter, along with nearly twenty other local HVAC companies who together donated over sixty service techs, took part in the event volunteering their time, expertise and equipment. Hetter would like to sincerely thank our staff for 100% participation and all of the event sponsors: Panera Bread, WSYX-TV, 93.3 FM, The Dispatch, Weilands Market, and Fifth Third Bank.
