We were sorry to see the passing of Ohio State Buckeye legend Earle Bruce last week after his courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Local HVAC companies always looked forward to hearing Earle speak every fall at a luncheon sponsored by Carr Supply. Earle would routinely talk for close to half an hour and often in front of 250-300 people at this particular event. Earle also was the local Tempstar spokesperson for close to ten years. I had the privilege of meeting Coach Bruce on the first Buckeye Cruise for Cancer and was pleasantly surprised by how easy he was to talk to & how truly genuine he was. Earle raised over $1 million for Alzheimer's research; he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003 and he got to dot the I when the Ohio State marching band performed Script Ohio before the Rutgers game on October 1, 2016. An honor only bestowed on a true legend. What a great life and a great man.
