Warmer winter forecasts should mean lower heating bills - 10/30/2019

A recent article in the Columbus Dispatch is projecting lower fuel costs coming this winter to heat your home, primarily because of warmer winter forecasts. The average home in the US spends roughly $600 during the winter months on natural gas which remains the cheapest option. Homes heated with electricity - about 40% of the nation's households - should expect to spend almost double that. Homes heated with propane - mostly in the outlying areas around Columbus - should expect to spend similar but slightly less than that of electric customers, according to the article.
