Heating, cooling and beyond
Thermostat battles at home happen every day between men & women across America. Research shows women generally like the indoor temperature a little warmer than men. According to a 2020 survey published in the Wall Street Journal, university students were asked to answer questions with varying room temperatures. The results: "women accomplished more on math & verbal tasks when the temperature was higher, while men performed better when it was lower." Women do have a lower metabolic rate & generally a smaller body mass therefore warmth is welcome. I have not conducted my own survey with my wife at home. #PickYourBattles. I've decided I'm happy being in control of the tv remote and don't want to jeopardize that.
