Hetter Heating & Cooling has partnered with Mitsubishi to offer homeowners their most comfortable option for that sun room that just doesn’t seem to get used all that much when the weather outside gets extreme. The Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump system is ductless, it is quiet, it is very inexpensive to operate and – best of all – it provides your family with year-round comfort in a room you certainly would like to spend more time in.
What is a mini split heat pump system?
There are many applications for mini-split ductless systems: garages, attics, basements, pool house, workshops, mobile homes, computer rooms (commercial and residential), and homes without ductwork.
Inverter Technology is like cruise control for your heating and cooling system. Compressors only run as fast as they need to handle the cooling and heating demand. They can handle greater extremes in temperature, are smoother and more stable in operation and reach the desired temperature more quickly than conventional air conditioners.
With ratings as high as 26 SEER, Mitsubishi offers the most energy efficient heat pumps in North America. Mitsubishi offers advanced technology with its split zoning and maximum energy efficiency for cooling and heating. Quiet, convenient, environmentally friendly and whisper quiet systems for any type of application in any type of weather. Mitsubishi offers over forty systems that are ENERGY STAR qualified, meaning they meet specific criteria set forth by the U.S. government. For more information, go to EnergyStar.gov.
"Ruth stated the men who did the job were very nice. The unit looks really good in the room and it works really well so far. We are happy with the unit and the work." David Hilliard
Federal Tax Credit
Homeowners also can claim up to a $300 credit for installation of qualifying Mitsubishi mini-split heat pumps through December 31, 2013. The federal tax credit applies to equipment and labor costs. For mini-split heat pumps to qualify for this credit, they must meet specific criteria. The long and short of it is, if your space (sun room) calls for a small outdoor unit (9,000 to 15,000 btu) and only one indoor air handler, chances are it will qualify.
